Abstract

In a video application system, an A/D converter which converts the analog signal into digital codes makes an important role to determine the system performance. In this paper, a high performance A/D converter which has 10-bit resolution and 30 MSPS conversion speed is proposed. It has an architecture of pipelined style. With 0.5 um double poly and double metal fully CMOS technology, the experimental prototype of the proposed A/D converter has ±0.7 LSB INL, and ±0.5 LSB DNL.
