Abstract

The PVA and PVP capped Nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) nanoparticles were synthesized by co-precipitation technique. The synthesized nanoparticles have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). The results showed that both PVA and PVP capped nanoparticles were 23 nm and 22 nm with single phase of NiFe2O4. Both PVP capped and PVA capped NiFe2O4 nanoparticles showed ferromagnetic properties.
