Abstract

This paper is an experience report that illustrates the applicability of a smart phone based development method for the disaster management domain. The method is a rather than developing new technologies were developed by the application system that disaster information reporting and status transmission system based on smart phone. These applications are composed of four functions that (1)disaster reporting application, (2)disaster information gathering & warning server, (3)disaster information database, (4)disaster information management web server. The development method has been successfully applied for these viewpoints generating the disaster information reporting and status transmission system framework.
