Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop the various alternatives of the integrated plan which satisfy the environmental performance and to offer its performance data at the early stage of the architectural design. The architects can examine easily how their decisions on the architectural plan will affect the lighting and air-conditioning plan, so the efficient design work is enabled. The status of the lighting and air-conditioning plan was analyzed and lighting and air-conditioning equipments were categorized by literature reviews and case studies. Then integrated plan of lighting and air-conditioning equipments were organized. Through the lighting and CFD simulation, the environmental performance of each plan was evaluated and finally various alternatives of the integrated plan were developed.
