Abstract

In this paper, a novel blind adaptive multiuser receiver is proposed. The proposed receiver uses the adaptive MMSE receiver to adaptively suppress the multiuser interference and, additionally, a matched filter is used to supply the reference signal. The complexity of the receiver is almost equal to the adaptive MMSE receiver, and has the same advantage of suppressing the multiuser interference without the explicit knowledge of interference parameters. Simulation study is done to study the performance of the proposed receiver. The simulation results show that the receiver is near-far resistant and outperforms the conventional receiver.
