Abstract
One of the key technology introduced in the WCDMA system is the blind rate detection in multi-rate service environment. In this paper, the blind transport format detection scheme, a blind rate detection scheme for WCDMA system, is studied. From the performance study of FER and FDR, it was found that the performance of BTFD without the transmission rate information was almost equal to the detection with a priori transmission rate information in WCDMA system.
