Abstract
The Yoginirnayaprakarana of Jñānaśrīmitra (ca. 970-1040) is considered unique among Buddhist śas̄tras in dealing exclusively with yogipratyaksa, the cognition of yogis. This paper examines the section of this text, which explains this cognition in the light of the Buddhist doctrine of momentariness (ksanikatva). It consists of a Sanskrit critical edition and English translation, as well as a detailed annotation added to the translation.
