Abstract

(Cell 189, 3465–3480.e1–e23; May 28, 2026) During post-publication review of our article, we, the authors, identified a minor error in the assembly of a supplementary figure, along with the need to expand one figure legend and to include the nucleotide sequences of the EMF-inducible DNA element (Ei) and second-generation Ei (sEi) in the supplemental information. These changes do not affect the results, interpretation, or conclusions of the article. The corrections are detailed below.(1)In Figure S5P, we have corrected an inadvertent panel duplication. During data verification, images were overlaid and placed side by side for comparison, and a temporary file that was created for this purpose was inadvertently retained and submitted in place of the original “Saline” data during the final figure assembly. The duplicated panel involved the negative control groups and did not affect any of the experimental data. We have now replaced it with the correct original data.(2)We have expanded the figure legend for Figure S1J to prevent potential ambiguity arising from excessive condensation during the final editing stage. Because luciferase activity was measured at discrete intervals rather than by continuous real-time monitoring, the marked increase following EMF exposure led the interpolation model to project an artificially sharp rise between data points. In addition, the minor fluctuations at the early time points are within reporter background activity and are not statistically significant (p > 0.05).(3)We have included the nucleotide sequences of the Ei and sEi in Table S4 of the supplemental information. Although the DNA information was already described in the text, figures, and STAR Methods, providing the explicit sequences gives readers complete, directly accessible information.
