Abstract
At the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, Gaspar Noé received an award in the Quinzaine des réalisateurs selection for Climax. But the filmmaker was also excited by the prospect of a 70mm screening of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the film’s release. Pip Chodorov and Jeremi Szaniawski took the opportunity to ask him questions about Kubrick’s sci-fi classic.
