Abstract
Conduction band dispersions of 2-dimensional (2D) AlAs near the X-point are mapped using 2D→D resonant tunneling in the presence of magnetic fields perpendicular to the tunneling current. The field-dependent resonance bias shift signifies the features of the in-plane dispersion relation of the collector quantum well. The dynamics of magneto-tunneling is demonstrated to be sensitive to the in-plane dispersions of the emitter and the collector wells and to the sample's structure.
